Deck Cleaning That Brings the Wood Back

Decks turn gray and slick because moss, algae and mildew work into the grain. We clean wood and composite decking with the right pressure and solution for the material, so the surface comes clean without fuzzing or splintering.

What we clean

Deck cleaning covers the whole outdoor living space:

  • Wood decking, rails and stairs
  • Composite decking like Trex
  • Pergolas and privacy screens
  • Concrete or paver patios alongside the deck

Wood and composite are different jobs

Blasting a wood deck at high pressure tears up the fibers and leaves it fuzzy. Wood gets a gentle wash that lifts the growth without damaging the grain, and it also preps the surface if you're planning to stain or seal. Composite gets its own approach, since algae loves the texture but the material hates harsh scrubbing.

If you're getting a deck ready for a graduation party, a listing or just summer in the backyard anywhere around Cincinnati, this is usually a one-day turnaround.

Questions

Good to Know

Anything else, just text us.

Is this safe for composite decks like Trex?

Yes. Composite needs low pressure and the right cleaner, which is exactly how we treat it. High pressure can permanently scar composite boards, so we never use it there.

Can I stain or seal after you clean?

Absolutely, cleaning is the correct first step. Give the wood a few dry days after our visit and it's ready for stain or sealer.

How long until I can use the deck?

Same day. Once the surface dries, usually a few hours in summer, the deck is ready for furniture and feet.
