Old houses do not forgive pressure
Wyoming has some of the oldest housing stock we work on. Victorians, four squares and early twentieth century homes, most of them carrying a lot of painted wood: clapboard, porch columns, brackets, soffits and window trim with real detail in it.
That is the single most important fact about cleaning a house here. Painted wood that is a century old will not tolerate a pressure washer. Force strips paint, opens seams, drives water into end grain and finds every weak point in aging caulk. What looks like a fast clean turns into a repaint.
The trees are the other half of it. Wyoming's canopy is genuinely exceptional, and mature trees over a slate or shingle roof mean gutters that fill fast and stay full. Older gutters, often original, hold that weight less well than newer ones do.
The windows are worth mentioning on their own. A lot of Wyoming homes have original divided-light sashes with real muntins, which is why window cleaning comes up more here than in most communities we serve. There is simply more glass edge and more frame to work around, and it wants doing by hand.

Will cleaning damage my old paint or wood trim?
Not the way we do it. Older painted wood gets soft washed at low pressure, roughly what comes out of a garden hose, with a cleaning solution doing the actual work. High pressure is what strips paint and drives water into the wood, and we do not use it on siding or trim at all.
Do you clean original divided-light windows?
Yes. They take longer because there is more frame and more glass edge, but that is normal for Wyoming houses and it is priced accordingly. Screens, sills and tracks are included.
How often do Wyoming gutters need cleaning?
Twice a year, given the tree cover. Late spring after the seeds and pollen drop, and late autumn once the trees are genuinely bare, which around here usually means late November rather than October.
